Our Programs

Peer Run Recovery Groups

Focused on mental health recovery, substance use recovery, vocational skills, and creative recovery, all groups are led by Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialists (CIPSS). They build empowering connections with group members and offer first-hand experience and encouragement that long-term recovery is possible. CIPSS are also available to meet one-on-one. 

Employment Connections

A program of Maine Mental Health Connections (MMHC), Employment Connections offers Greater Bangor mental health consumers supported paid employment opportunities with a job coach. Employment Connections contracts with businesses to provide custodial services. MMHC offers referrals to Vocational Rehabilitation and Community Support Services.

Creative Recovery Initiative

Recognizing the vast potential to foster stronger long-term recovery, Together Place developed the Creative Recovery Initiative comprised of two parts: Creative & Vocational Recovery Groups and Creative Community Events hosted by those in recovery.
